Birthday Parties

Today was Danielle's family birthday party here at our place. We had my mom, dad, mother-in-law, father-in-law, aunt uncle, and our friend Cindy and her 3-year old Emily here.

We had to cancel Marisa & Danielle's party for tomorrow at Bounce'N'Play! :-( We lost $50.00 and had to call 20 kids' parents but how can it be a party without one of the birthday girls! We're going to reschedule something else tomorrow.

Danielle had an absolute blast! She had a late morning nap so it worked out really well! She is such an entertainer - dancing, running around, carrying her new TMX Elmo around, making adorable sounds and faces, etc. :-) Everyone falls in love with her instantly! She is exhausting to be with all day but she has such an amazing personality and is so much fun. My dad fed her a bottle today (first time in his life). My Angel was so cute eating her cake and was using her spoon (and hands, of course) so well. I can't believe she's one.

Marisa being sick sat on the couch almost the whole time, sometimes sleeping. She did get up and played a game of Diego's Snakes & Ladders with Cindy and Emily once while sitting on my lap. She got up and sat beside Danielle during the cake and even had a bit. Also had some chocolate pudding (at her request). Hours and hours went by and finally she threw up tonight at about 7pm. All day nothing so we thought she was finally getting better. Then she threw up again about an hour ago.

I'm so bummed that we had to cancel and more-so cause my Sunshine is still sick. I just hope she gets better soon and doesn't end up in the hospital from dehydration. Yes, I'm parnoid since her being in the hospital in January.

6 days until I'm off to my mini-vacation to New York!
