Today's post from me to my baby groups:
"I'm pretty lucky. My girls barely have conflict. Marisa is more like a mother to Danielle. Of course they still have their moments but those are so rare and typically tiny when they take place.
Just yesterday Daddy was making pancakes with Marisa and Danielle. Marisa was all excited wanting to do everything. Danielle is curious too of course. She ended up touching the frying pan and has a small burn on one of her little baby fingers. It's blistering up today. :-( She cried so bad. Yes I put stuff on her.
Anyway, I feel so blessed because the first thing Marisa did was jump in to help her. She is always protecting her from everything. It's absolutely the best gift I could ever have."
On a different note did I mention that the in-laws (Mark's parents) cancelled and are not coming for Christmas. Every year mother-in-law makes some sort of fuss. Father-in-law is not happy and sick right now. Can't say I blame the guy. I was stressed about it knowing Marisa will be sad. Hey, instead of stressing, I'm going to make sure she has an extra special day, end of story!!!
