Marisa's Last Day of Pre-school

So this is Marisa's last week of pre-school. Today was her last typical day. Wednesday is graduation. Friday is a year-end pizza party.

When Danielle and I picked up Marisa from school, Ms. Catherine (who I love talking to) told me that they asked each child separately what was their favourite thing to do at school. Funny thing is that Marisa said, "Playing with Maya" and Maya (her best friend) said, "Playing with Marisa". They really are best friends. Too bad they are going to different schools for JK and SK. :-(

I'm not even that nervous that my first child is going to be starting JK this September...real school. That was pre-school. Ahhhh, I'm sure I'll be a little nervous as it gets closer.

Well, I had to laugh when Maya's mom (whom I really adore and we do regular playdates) told me what school she was planning on sending Maya to for Grade 1...the same as the one we plan on sending Marisa too.

It should be interesting how they will interact in Grade 1. They each ask for each other ALL THE TIME. Of course us moms plan to keep the playdates going... but will it be enough for them...it's like they're in love...so cute!
