We then do the usual for the next hour: bathroom, dressed, breakfast for 3, Baby Einstein for Danielle, bottle for Danielle, make sure Marisa's snack and water is packed, get shoes on, get stroller from garage, make sure to drink something too, of course if Mark's there and not away on business he's a BIG help. We leave at 8:35 to take Marisa to school for 8:45. Walk back half way and wait for the school bus to pick up Chelsea. Next Danielle and I go home (or dad...wherein, at the rare time, I get to sleep in).
While Marisa is in school I spend some quality time with Danielle. This morning we went grocery shopping.
We came home, I threw the groceries threw the window, and flew back over with Danielle to pick up Marisa from school.
As soon as Marisa saw Danielle she was so excited, as Danielle always is to see her big sister. The teacher says Hi to me and tells me what a great day Marisa had at school, how happy Marisa always is and how she's smiling. Marisa says, "This is my sister". And of course proudly said "Danielle" when the teacher asked what her little sister's name was.
It was cute when the teacher said, "ohhhh you couldn't tell they'rreee sisters" (ha ha).
I'm a proud mom, who's 4-year old Marisa is a proud big sister. :-)
