Sisters Love

I am so proud of myself.

I feel like I'm doing something right in this life of being a mom. You know, the endless frustrations and daily challenges of dealing with a toddler and a pre-school, and both girls.

Last night, Mark and I went for a walk with the girls. We went to my 2-daycare kids' place to do a DVD exchange. Marisa went inside and played a bit with the girls. Marisa came out when we were about to leave, and Danielle was so excited to see her sister she started to jump up and down and just threw her arms around her. And WOW, what a long sweet and loving hug. And Marisa was so loving back.

In a regular job, you get paid, you get the odd praise, you get raises, you get breaks, you get evaluation reports.

Moms .... they get joy of accomplishment when something like this happens.

And what I'm really proud to say is that, this event happens often. Marisa and Danielle truly are BEST FRIENDS. :-)
