Housework

Anyone who really knows me knows that my priority in life and my heart are my kids...my two girls.

I think it's important to give kids a sense of responsibilty. A feeling that they are part of something...being this family. So what better way then to implement responsibilities on a daily basis. This helps and teaches them, while helping Mark and me out....although sometimes there's a bit of 'other work' they end up producing for you (like a water puddle on the floor while doing dishes)...but the end result is well worth it.

My Kids' Responsibilities

-- Feed Fluffy, the cat, every morning and every evening. It's like clockwork...total routine....they are an amazing team.

-- Help me vacuum.

-- Help clear and set the table.

-- Cleaning up after themselves, both food and toys.

-- Giving mommy lots of hugs & kisses.

And tonight Marisa told me she wanted to do the dishes. So she did just that. I washed and she rinsed and put it on the dish rack.

I am so proud of my girls.
