Today I got to get on a school bus with 3 kindergarten classes, teachers and parents. Off we all went to the Humber Arboretum for a pond study. We won't talk about all the voices I still hear after being in a small enclosed place with so many kids.
Oh my. Anyone who knows me and bugs are just not a good combination. This was definitely a daddy trip but since he had the nerve to be out-of-town on business, I got the lucky opportunity to go instead.
I must admit that it was an amazing experience. Despite all the dirt and bugs and stuff!
Being able to watch Marisa interact with her friends, teachers, classmates, and then to watch her get right in there and be so eager to catch the bugs with the net and examine them...wow - it was all an experience I was happy I had a chance to have.
As for how I did with the bugs? Let's just say I kept my distance...as much as I could anyway.
