Okay, it's my turn again. I think the only time I have posted is the first test run.
Well, it's been about 5 weeks since my last layoff and I have been thoroughly enjoying the time. It's role reversal for Dalia and I, Dalia's gone back to work, I'm "working" at home with the girls. Once I get more accustomed to the routine and have my days filled with Daddy Daycare, I'll get to know what Dalia has been going through the last few years.
Although I've been lucky enough to be able to take Marisa to school since she's ever been going to school, I'll now be able to pick her up and even volunteer a bit. This time will never be there again, so it's time for me to cherish them even more with all this extra time I have.
I sometimes wonder how we ever manage things, but when you want to do something, it's amazing how things turn out as long as you believe they will. People find ways to do the things that they really want to do, and I've been blessed to be given the opportunity to do that.
There was a movie Dal and I watched a short time ago with a great quote... "Death is certain, Life is not". Enjoy it while you can.
